Eszterbauer Wines on the Export Market
Eszterbauer is a family-owned winery from Szekszárd, Hungary, with a history of grape growing dating back to 1746. Today the 10th and 11th generations continue the tradition, producing elegant, terroir-driven wines from 37 hectares of vineyards in the most renowned valleys of the region.
Our Signature Varieties We focus on the classic Szekszárd varieties – Kékfrankos, Kadarka and Bikavér – produced in a distinctly fruity yet refined style. Our wines are vibrant and pure, with bright red fruit character and an elegance that comes from the region’s loess soils. Many of them fit perfectly into the growing “chillable reds” category: fresh reds that can be enjoyed slightly cooled and pair beautifully with a wide range of dishes. In addition to the local varieties, we also work with international grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which regularly achieve strong results in international competitions.

Trade Fairs & Professional Events We regularly present our wines at key international trade events, including:
- Vinexpo Paris (2025, 2026)
- Pour Your Own Path – UK Roadshow (2026)
- United Nations of Kékfrankos / VieVinum (2026)
- Meet the Buyer (2025, 2026)
- CEE Wine Fair (2024–2026)
- Hungarian Wine Summit (2024, 2025)
